PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hot water storage tank, having the rectangular outline and facilitating reduction in thickness. SOLUTION: The conventional rounded tank type hot water storage tank is converted to a plate configuration type having a plurality of passages, a fixed interval is set between the plates, a plurality of thermal storage materials 3 are disposed between the plate parts 2, a function of storing heat of hot water heated by a refrigerant is added, and the stored heat is utilized in using hot water, whereby the continuous available quantity can be increased more than before, so that with the same available quantity, the capacity of the tank can be decreased for that, and further since the tank is of plate-type differently from the conventional tank, space saving can be achieved.
