The device has operating surfaces (1) e.g. touch screen for selecting air dosing devices e.g. blow air nozzles, or air profiles. A rotary button (4) is provided for adjusting air dosage for the selected air dosing devices or the air profiles. The air dosing devices are arranged in printing units, a feeder or in a console of a printing machine. The button is controlled by a computer and provided with a haptic feedback device. The button has an operating element (25) for activating or deactivating the rotary button. The button has a lighting unit for indicating activated or deactivated function.
