PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a burring structure and a method for burring which can prevent deformation strain of a cutting blade due to the load applied on a burr cutting portion from spreading to the periphery, and largely improve the dimension accuracy of an opening part. SOLUTION: A duct 1 is a hollow body having the burring structure for cutting the unnecessary burr 2 of the blow molded resin made hollow body after blow molding. A burr cutting portion 4 of the duct 1 is provided with a deflection suppressing structure 5 at least at the burr 2 side or the product part (body part side) along the portion. The deflection suppressing structure 5 at the burr 2 side along the burr cutting portion 4 of the duct 1 is composed of one or many recessed parts 6 composing a reinforcing rib.
