PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carbazoyl group-containing copolymer having high solubility, to provide a member for optical material, having a high refractive index and well satisfying both hardness and solvent resistance, and to provide a resin composition for optical materials, forming the member for optical materials. SOLUTION: Provided are a copolymer formed by copolymerizing a monomer composition containing a radically polymerizable group containing carbazole and a radically polymerizable group-containing cyclic ether compound and a resin composition for optical materials, containing the copolymer.
