PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a leaf cleaning device having a rotary cutter suitable for the leaf cleaning of sugar cane and other crops. SOLUTION: The leaf cleaning device 1 for crops has a pair of right and left rotary cutters 2, 2 attached to a gear box 12 placed at the tip end of an operation rod 11 which is held in the hand of an operator for handling. The rotary cutters 2, 2 are composed of rotating main bodies 21 attached to a pair of right and left rotary axes 127, 127 protruding from the gear box 12 and a cutter cord 22 radially protruding from each rotary main body 21. Since the rotary cutters are attached to the rotary axes 127, 127 having different rotating directions when viewed from the protruding direction, the cutters can be rotated in an aligned state at the front part viewed from the direction of the operation rod 11.
