HEATER CORE AND THE CONTROL METHOD FOR VEHICLE

A heater core for vehicle and a control method thereof are provided to heat the indoor space of a vehicle quickly by heating coolant and air at the start of the engine, and to preheat the engine by supplying the heated coolant to the engine. A heater core for vehicle comprises a first header tank(10) and a second header tank(20) which are installed at an interval, a core unit(30) which is inserted between the first header tank and the second header tank, and one or more heating units(40) which are made of film heater and installed in a part of the core unit. The core unit includes a plurality of tubes(31) forming a coolant flow path and a plurality of heat radiation fins(32) between the tubes.
