PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sample analyzer capable of outputting a new index for evaluating a production state of a red blood cell. SOLUTION: The sample analyzer is provided with a detection part for obtaining prescribed information from a cell included in a biospecimen; a display part; and a control part for sorting a reticulocyte and a mature erythrocyte from the cell based on the information obtained by the detection part, and displaying the calculation result of a reticulocyte hemoglobin content included in the sorted reticulocyte and a mature erythrocyte hemoglobin amount included in the mature erythrocyte as the analysis result.
