PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for determining deterioration of a moisture sensor and a moisture measurement device, which accurately determine whether a moisture sensor is deteriorated, and perform measurement with reliability and improved accuracy. SOLUTION: A moisture value (RH) measured in a measuring section is compared with a predetermined moisture determining level (RHmax). Each duration time (Tn) at which the moisture value (RH) becomes the predetermined moisture determining level (RHmax) or more (RH>=RHmax) is integrated, and if the integrated value of each duration time (Ttotal=T1+T2+T3+...+Tn) becomes a specified duration time (Tset) or more (Ttotal>=Tset), it is determined that a moisture sensor is deteriorated and a warning is displayed in a displaying section.
