<p>A process for manufacturing a solar cell of high performance through simple operations. The process is a process for manufacturing a solar cell with a texture provided on a surface of silicon substrate, characterized by including the first step of dipping a silicon substrate in a mixed aqueous solution of hydrofluoric acid and oxidizer containing metal ions to thereby form a porous silicon layer on the surface of the silicon substrate and the second step of etching the silicon substrate surface having undergone the first step by dipping the same in a mixed acid composed mainly of hydrofluoric acid and nitric acid so as to form a texture.</p> |
