A biocompatible material and a manufacturing method thereof are provided, in which the safety and human body absorption anger are improved by using young fish scales. A biocompatible material and a manufacturing method thereof are as follows. The biocompatible material comprises the composite having the collagen of the young fish scale as the main component like the hydroxyapatite. The molecular weight of hydroxyapatite is 1000. The molecular weight of the collagen is 500~1000. The composite is obtained by mixing hydroxyapatite extract and the collagen extract at a ratio of 8:2 and drying the mixture.
