<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus which still maintain the effectiveness of a knowledge based system and support users on a help list so as to acquire quick responses to inquiries. <P>SOLUTION: The method has the steps of: receiving user messages through electronic mail, assigning thread identifiers to user messages; and applying an inquiry format, related to the body of information, to a user message. In addition, the method also has the steps of: logging a user message that corresponds to a thread identifier into a thread log, if an appropriate response to the user message is not contained in the knowledge base, automatically transmitting the logged message to a subject expert through electronic mail; and receiving data input from at least one subject expert terminal through a computer in order to update the knowledge base. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
