An evaporator is provided to cool the heat source effectively by evaporating working liquid sucked in a wick more easily. An evaporator(100) comprises a chamber, a condenser, and a plurality of wicks. The chamber includes an inlet(101) on one side to be connected to an outlet of the condenser, and an outlet(102) on the top to be connected to an inlet of the condenser. The bottom surface of the chamber contact a heat generating member(103). A plurality of long upward protrusions are provided in the chamber so that the lower parts contact the bottom of the chamber. The upward protrusions are inserted to slit bores formed on the wicks. |
