<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deadlock device of an electric steering column lock device capable of preventing unlocking of a steering shaft. <P>SOLUTION: The invention is characterized by being constituted by a housing fixed to a steering column with its one end released, a lock bolt for locking or releasing the steering shaft with a locking mechanism which responds to the presence or absence of user authentication allowed in the housing, a cover detachably connected to the housing, and a spring which is provided in such a manner that the first attachment point (X) is fixed to the housing, one end is supported by the cover in a contracted state, the other end is fixed to the housing, so that the spring limits the movement of the lock bolt when the cover breaks away from the housing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
