PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a heat fusion tool of a covering material for a pipe member easy to use by improving the heat fusion tool so that a direction of a heating body can be changed corresponding to a positional relation between a worker and the pipe member with the covering material when performing fusion work. SOLUTION: In a fluid pipe with a heat insulator where an outer surface of an inner pipe is covered with the heat insulator 47, when both parted heat insulators 47 are mutually joined, the inner pipe is inserted into an insertion hole between both heating bodies 13 in a closed state Q of both heating members 11 which are capable of being mutually opened/closed and thereby both heating surfaces are applied to end faces of both heat insulators 47 to melt the end faces. Bending arms 14 of the both heating members 11 are rotated together with the heating bodies 13 to both side directions YL, YR in a central line direction Y of the insertion hole between both heating bodies 13 to make it bendable. Thereby when performing fusion work, direction of both heating bodies 13 can be changed corresponding to the positional relation between the worker and the fluid pipe with the heat insulator to facilitate fusion work.
