PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ear transmission mechanism and a gear capable of improving degree of freedom in design so as to adopt various design such as an optional design of a change gear ratio between gears, a design optionally setting a center distance between a pair of gears, a design reducing a space for a gear such as a sector gear, and a design commonly using a support shaft relative to a plurality of gears. SOLUTION: This gear transmission mechanism 1 has a first gear 10 formed with a plurality of first gear teeth 11 with an equal pitch in the only one part in the circumferential direction and a second gear 20 formed with a plurality of second gear teeth 21 with an equal pitch so as to be engaged with the first gear teeth. When a module of the first gear tooth 11 is m and a standard diameter of the first gear tooth is d, (d/m) is a value except an integer, and the number of virtual teeth is a number except an integer when forming virtual gear teeth in the whole circumference with the equal pitch with the first gear teeth.
