APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR COATING TUBULAR BODY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for coating a tubular body which can prevent the deposition of a coating material on the distal end of the tubular body and prevent the infiltration of the coating material into the inside of the tubular body in coating. SOLUTION: The apparatus for coating the tubular body is provided for coating the peripheral surface of the tubular body with the coating material, and the apparatus comprises a coating material container 10 and a film rupture 20. The coating material container 10 has an elastic member made side surface part 11 formed with a tubular inserting hole 11a into which the tubular body is inserted while sliding and the coating material container 10 is rotated so that the side surface part 11 faces downward. The film rupture 20 ruptures the coating material film formed on the tubular inserting hole 11a when the tubular body inserted into the tubular body inserting hole 11a is drawn out.
