A device for controlling the display of a remaining amount of gas sequentially calculates the mass of compressed gas in a tank and compares a first calculation value calculated at a first timing and a second calculation value calculated at a second timing later than the first timing. When the second calculation value is smaller than the first calculation value, the control device causes a display device to display the remaining amount of the compressed gas in the tank based on the second calculation value. Further, when the second calculation value is greater than or equal to the first calculation value, the control device causes the display device to display the remaining amount of the compressed gas in the tank based on the first calculation value. Thus, when causing the display device to display the remaining amount of the compressed gas contained in the tank, the control device prevents an increased amount from being displayed despite the fact that the tank is not filled with the compressed gas.
