<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas chromatograph in which quick replacement of an insert in a sample vaporizing chamber can be made. <P>SOLUTION: The gas chromatograph is constituted by setting up an inert gas conducting path 10 for introducing an inert gas into a sample vaporizing chamber 20, independently of the carrier gas. According to such a constitution, since by blowing inert gas into the sample vaporizing chamber 20 from the inert gas conducting path 10 during the exchanging period of the insert 3, insert replacement operation can be carried out in an inert gas atmosphere, there is no possibility of degrading the insert 3 and a column 22; even if the insert 3 is replaced, while the temperatures of the sample vaporization chamber 20 and the column 22 is maintained at prescribed high temperatures for analysis. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
