<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antioxidant manufacturable inexpensively and containing a peptide exhibiting superior antioxidative activity as an effective component. <P>SOLUTION: The antioxidant contains at least either peptide expressed by H-Ile-Trp-His-His-Thr-OH or H-Leu-Lys-Tyr-Pro-OH as an effective component.
