PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deposit treatment device which can select the improvement of local exhaust efficiency in a longitudinal space partitioned by a structure. SOLUTION: A cleaning device 100 as the deposit treatment device is installed in an elevator shaft 52 stood in the vertical direction. The cleaning device 100 is used to drop dust etc. adhered to the wall surface 52a of the elevator shaft 52, and is provided with a duct 110 having a plurality of inlet ports and exhaust ports 119 and a dust collecting machine 120 performing exhaust. The duct 110 is provided with an intake selection unit having a door capable of shielding each of the inlet ports. The inlet ports and the intake selection unit are arranged at upper and lower sides in the longitudinal direction of the elevator shaft 52 in the elevator shaft 52. When performing cleaning work. the intake selection unit in the vicinity of a scaffold 211 is brought into a door open state, and thereby the corresponding inlet port is opened. The dust collecting machine 120 takes air via the inlet port opened by the intake selection unit and performs exhaust by moving the taken air toward the exhaust port 119.
