<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a print system, surely allowing each user to print only the permitted number of pages or less. <P>SOLUTION: The print system comprises a print page management device which transfers received print job data (including a user ID) to a printer by adding a print page designation command for setting an allowable number of pages; and the printer which performs, upon receipt of print job data including the print page designation command, the print job data is processed until the allowable number of pages set in the print page designation command is reached, or all pages are completely printed, and thereafter transmits a job completion report including the user ID and the actual number of pages to the print page management device. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
