PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite cable suitable for use as a reinforcement in a heavy load tires such as aircraft tires. SOLUTION: The cable is formed of an aramid yarn 3 and a nylon yarn 2 cabled together, wherein the aramid yarn has a linear density in the range of about 220 to about 3,300 dtex, and the nylon yarn has a linear density in the range of about 220 to about 2,100 dtex, and the overall twist of the cable ranges from about 3-16 tpi.
