PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the cooling performance of the rear side cylinder of a V-type engine. SOLUTION: On a body frame 2, the engine with a front side cylinder 18 and the rear side cylinder 19 arranged in a V-shape is mounted. The cylinders 18, 19 are each roughly classified into an engine function part A in which cylinders 20-23 and an intake/exhaust valve 37 are arranged, and a transmission member storage part B in which a transmission chain 45 is stored for driving cam shafts 38, 39, and arranged side by side in a vehicle cross direction. Between the engine function part A and the transmission member storage part B in an area corresponding to a height range where cylinder bodies 20, 21 are provided, ventilation opening portions 27, 28 are provided through a vehicle longitudinal direction. Thus, travelling wind can directly hit the rear side cylinder 19 through the ventilation opening portion 27 of the front side cylinder 18. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
