PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a trough cutter which is simple in structure composed of a single component, can be inexpensively manufactured, can be simply fitted or separated when an outer diameter of a trough slightly differs in size, and can appropriately keep elastic holding force of the trough. SOLUTION: The trough cutter comprises an elastic holding body 1 in an incomplete ring shape having a part notched to make an opening 2. In the holding body 1, an elastic holding space 3 is formed for elastically holding an outer peripheral surface of the trough 5 to be cut in a detachable manner through the opening 2 of the elastic holding body 1.
