PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure the safety of an electrical shock caused by a high-voltage battery, to prevent the occurrence of a fault caused by the static electricity of a voltage detection circuit, and to accurately detect voltages of battery cells by using the voltage detection circuit. SOLUTION: The power supply device comprises: the high-voltage battery 1 to which a plurality of the battery cells 2 are connected in series; the voltage detection circuit 3 which detects the voltage of the high-voltage battery 1; a load 20 to which power is fed from the high-voltage battery 1; a metal case 4 which contains the high-voltage battery 1 and the voltage detection circuit 3, and is connected to the chassis ground 21 of the load 20; and an static electricity absorption capacitor 6 connected between the metal case 4 and a ground line 5 of the voltage detection circuit 3. Furthermore, the power supply device comprises a separation switch 7 connected to the static electricity absorption capacitor 6 in series thereto, the static electricity absorption capacitor 6 absorbs static electricity in the closed state of the separation switch 7, and the voltage detection circuit 3 detects the voltage of the high-voltage battery 1 in the opened state of the separation switch 7.
