<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thick film magnet which can be formed to have a fine pattern shape while exhibiting a desired magnetic characteristic. <P>SOLUTION: A magnet paste is obtained by mixing at least SmFeN-based magnet particles, an adhesive and a solvent. The magnet particles are set to have a composition proportion not smaller than 67 wt.% and not larger than 97 wt.%. The magnet paste is printed by screen printing into a predetermined pattern on a polyimide substrate and is then thermoset to form a thick film magnet.
