PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a passage for a pedestrian, which has excellent daylighting properties and spaciousness and which is advantageous in terms of both equipment costs and the easiness of connection to a building, and a girder structure suitable for the constitution of the passage. SOLUTION: The girder structure 1 is a hybrid structure in which each of upper and lower steel flanges 2 and 3 and a glass web plate 4 are connected together. A stiffener 7 elongated in a vertical direction is attached to either of side surfaces of the web plate 4. The two sets of girder structures 1 are laid as main girders in parallel; a roof is mounted between the upper flanges 2 of each girder structure 1; and a floor for the pedestrian is mounted between the lower flanges 3 of each girder structure.
