PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To use specific operation without authentication even in an application set with an authentication mode. SOLUTION: The electronic equipment has: an authentication service part 2 called from the application 1 to perform authentication service; a system control part 3 receiving authenticating data input; and an authentication module 4 deciding whether an authentication condition is satisfied or not based on the received authenticating data. When an authentication API processing part 21 is called from the application 1 in time of a setting change of the application, the authentication service part 2 determines the application 1 having called the authentication API part 21 by an application determination part 22, acquires the authentication mode set in the application 1 having called the authentication API part 21 by an authentication mode acquisition part 23, calls an authentication module 4 corresponding to the acquired acquisition mode by the authentication API part 21, and decides whether the authentication condition is satisfied or not.
