PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problems that making the fastest possible water stream in a cylinder is the ultimate cause for enhancing a separation effect, however a water stream swirling in the inner wall of the cylinder is drawn by a slow water stream at the center part in the same cylinder, or when apart from an inflow port, a high water stream is hardly produced and a separation performance is also limited, and further foreign matter once separated and accumulated at the bottom is re-flown out to the outside from the outlet together with water. SOLUTION: The cyclone type filter device installs a conical cylinder having a foreign matter discharge port at the lower part of the cylinder body, and a liquid to be treated is press-fed on the inside surface of the cylinder body to centrifuge foreign matter contained in the liquid to be treated, wherein a pipe is installed along the inside surface of the cylinder body, the liquid to treated is press-fed and circulated through the inside of this pipe to centrifuge the foreign matter contained in the liquid to be treated, a foreign matter accumulation chamber is installed in communication with the foreign matter discharge port, and the foreign matter is taken out from this foreign matter accumulation chamber.
