PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a graft copolymer capable of imparting matte property to a molded article without deteriorating impact resistance and the surface appearance of the molded article, and capable of improving dependence of the fluidity and matte property of a thermoplastic resin composition on molding conditions, a thermoplastic resin composition containing the copolymer, and a molded article. SOLUTION: The graft copolymer is obtained by polymerizing 10-90 parts by mass of a monomer mixture containing an unsaturated nitrile monomer and an aromatic vinyl monomer in the presence of 10-90 parts by mass of an enlarged rubber. An enlarged rubber having a mass average particle diameter of 0.6-3 μm is obtained by blending 100 parts by mass, in terms of solid content, of a rubbery polymer latex (A), 0.1-10 parts by mass of a condensed acid salt (B), and 0.1-10 parts by mass, in terms of solid content, of an acid group-containing copolymer latex (C). The acid group-containing copolymer latex (C) is obtained by polymerizing 5-30 mass% of an acid group-containing monomer and 95-70 mass% of an unsaturated carboxylic acid ester monomer.
