PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fault point search system for a power distribution line capable of highly accurately detecting a search current for identifying a fault point of an electric line. SOLUTION: Commercial frequency noise superposed on the search current can be removed by subtracting waveform data before a commercial period of time from the search current. By providing a one code-length delay part 551 and a subtraction part 552 in an operation part 55, waveform data Din of the search current are delayed by the time duration of the one code length by the delay part 551, and waveform data obtained by subtracting the delayed waveform data D1 from the waveform data Din of the search current are output as processing results Dout.
