PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine decompression apparatus achieving miniaturization of an engine. SOLUTION: This engine decompressing apparatus 80 includes: a retaining part 91 provided in a cylinder head 13 and retaining a stopper pin 82; the stopper pin 82 and a spring member 93 stored in a through-hole 92 opened in the retaining part 91; and a retainer plate 94 arranged above the through-hole 92 and pressing the spring member 93.
