AN OUTLET PLUG FOR FURNACE

An outlet plug for furnace is provided to prevent that the plug escapes from the outlet of a furnace due to the load of slag and molten steel when the furnace inclines. An outlet plug fitted to a molten steel outlet of a furnace comprises a split body(100) and a plug main body(200). The split body includes split plugs of hollow pipe shape having an outside curvature equal to that of the furnace outlet and spaced from each other to form a split part, and a spring which forces the split plugs against the inner wall of the furnace outlet. The plug main body is inserted into the split body.
