A channel setting method based on TCP is provided to form a TCP communication channel between terminals connected to different NATs, thereby directly transceiving data through the TCP communication channel. The first terminal(100) transmits the first TCP(Transmission Control Protocol) dummy packet to an NAT(Network Address Translation) server(300). The NAT server transmits connection information of the first NAT(110) grasped from the first TCP dummy packet to the second terminal. The second terminal transmits the second TCP dummy packet and the third TCP dummy packet to the NAT server and the first NAT. The NAT server transmits the connection information of the second NAT(210) grasped from the second TCP dummy packet to the first terminal. The first terminal forms a TCP channel with the second NAT based on the third TCP dummy packet and the second NAT connection information.
