An asymmetrical frequency relay system for transceiving forward/reverse links and a method thereof are provided to prevent signal oscillation due to signal interference. A donor relay device(320) receives a radio frequency signal transmitted from a base station(310) through an RF cable. The donor relay device transits the received signal to a microwave band to perform relay. A remote relay device(330) is positioned in a service area. The remote relay device receives the microwave band signal in a forward link. The remote relay device transits the received signal to the RF band. The remote relay device the RF band signal by direct or indirect link method in the reverse link to the base station. The base station controls communication between terminals existing in a predetermined service area(340). The donor relay device comprises a radio frequency block(323), a microwave block(322) and a microwave antenna(321).
