The present invention provides methods and kits for treating glaucoma. More particularly, the present invention provides for the use of an agent in the manufacture of a medicament for the treatment of glaucoma, wherein the agent is selected from the group consisting of: a chordin antagonist; a gremlin antagonist; and a follistatin antagonist and a topical ocular formulation suitable for the treatment of glaucoma and comprising from 0.01 % to 2.0% (wt. %) of an agent selected from the group comprising: a chordin antagonist; a gremlin antagonist; and a follistatin antagonist.
