A waterborne, motor powered towing device for control by a water-skier comprises a freely movable waterborne vessel 1 containing a motor, such as 8, fuel tank 9, &c. and provided with a traction rod or element 4 having at its end handles 5, 6 for starting and controlling the motor. The traction rod 4 is tubular and movable in a vertical direction only relatively to the hull, steering being effected by horizontal movement therewith ; it may be detachably mounted on the hull, the control cables being similarly mounted on the motor, and may be foldable. An inverted seat 7 protects the motor. In a modification, an outboard motor replaces the motor 8, the traction rod replacing the neual steering and control handle of the motor. |
