A shampoo composition containing natural components is provided to enable a user to wash his hair with a shampoo containing the shampoo composition in no need of water, thereby reducing environmental contamination. A shampoo composition comprises 55wt% of corn starch, 26wt% of baking soda, 16wt% of clay, 2wt% of aloe powder and 1wt% of ylang-ylang essential oil. A method for producing the shampoo composition consists of the following steps of: adding the aloe powder and ylang-ylang essential oil to the corn starch, baking soda and clay; and pulverizing the mixture using a high-speed precision pulverizing device. A powder size of the shampoo composition is 0.5-50mum in diameter.
