An exhaust gas-purifying catalyst (1) includes a support substrate (2), a catalyst support layer (3) supported by the support substrate (2) and including porous carrier (31), and a precious metal (4) supported by the porous carrier (31). A mean diameter of the precious metal (4) is 5 nm or larger.
