A method for guiding a section regulation spot, a navigation device, and a computer readable recording medium are provided to make a driver drive safely without violation of speed limits by guiding a speed limit and a limit time in the section regulation spot through the navigation device. A display unit(120) displays section regulation distance information, speed limit information and time limit information by the control of a controller. A data storage unit(130) stores a control program for controlling the operation of a navigation device, the data generated in the control program execution, and the data registered and set by a user. A controller(140) determines the entry of the section regulation start point of the vehicle by using a GPS signal received by a GPS signal receiver and the coordinate information of the regulation section. If the vehicles enter the section regulation start spot, the controller extracts the regulation information and performs the control for reproducing the section regulation distance information, the speed limit information and the time limit information through one of the display unit and the speaker. If the vehicle passes through the section restriction release spot, after finishing the control for reproducing the regulation data, the controller performs the control for reproducing the release spot passing comment through the display unit or the speaker. |
