<p>The device (1) has a voltage line (5) for voltage supply to an electrode (3). A parameter determining device (14) determines a parameter, which varies as a function of a surface potential on a material. A control device (12) controls a voltage applied on the electrode and/or a current flowing through the electrode and/or a scanning ratio and/or a frequency, with which the electrode is switched on and off or supplied with voltage with opposite polarity. The control device controls the electrode voltage and/or scanning ratio and/or the current and/or the frequency in dependence of the parameter. An independent claim is also included for a method for steering an electrode device for contactless removal of an electrostatic charging from an electrically insulating material.</p> |
