Rubber composition and tire comprising thereof

Sulfur-vulcanizable rubber blend, especially for tire treads, contains diene rubber(s), carbon black and/or silica, 0.3-2 phr (parts per 100 parts of rubber by weight) of zinc oxide and 0.5-6 phr process aids, comprising sodium and/or potassium soaps and mono- and/or di-glyceryl esters of saturated and/or unsaturated 10-28 carbon carboxylic acids, in which the weight ratio of soaps to esters is 0.1-10, preferably 2-4. An independent claim is included for tires with treads consisting, at least partly, of this blend in sulfur-vulcanized form.
