A power transmission apparatus for a bicycle and a pedal boat is provided to implement a chainless bicycle and a pedal boat having an efficient multistage transmission function by delivering power in a chainless method. A chainless bicycle comprises a pedal gear and a rear wheel gear. The pedal gear(7) and the rear wheel gear(10) moves forward and backward along a spline portion formed in a driving shaft(8) through a gearshift operating a cable equipped in a steering wheel. Pinion gears(15a,15b) having a tooth form to be symmetrical are selectively engaged in the multi-stage tooth form formed the pedal gear and the rear wheel gear. A power transmission apparatus of a chainless pedal boat comprises: a pedal gear having a face-gear form or a crown gear; and a multi-stage tooth gear having same size and same interval. |
