A prevention method for junction error and a protection method of connecter at auto tool changer is provided to prevent the electrical malfunction due to foreign matter and a control tool from being dropped. A prevention method for junction error and a protection method of connecter at auto tool changer comprises a step of moving a baste tool toward a control tool right positioned by activating a robot drive part; a step of moving an air junction port toward top of an electrical connection port; and a step of injecting air in order to remove foreign matter of the electrical connection port prior to the combination of the base tool and the control tool. The electrical connection port is formed on the control tool. The air connection port is formed on the base tool.
