FIELD: physics, measurement. ^ SUBSTANCE: application: for testing of pipelines. Substance: consists in the fact that digitised signals generated as a result of reception and transformation of reflected ultrasonic waves from pipeline walls are reduced by means of application of computer modules so that ultrasonic envelope is built based in selected data without significant loss of information for further definition of defect areas location and their characteristic in quantitative ratio, using stage of defect area sizes definition and stage for signal background definition in defect area. ^ EFFECT: increased accuracy of information reproduction related to pipeline quality, without increased amount of data subject to storage. ^ 3 cl, 7 dwg |
