An inverter transformer is provided to secure an insulating distance between a first bobbin and a second bobbin by forming an insulating plate between the first bobbin and the second bobbin. An inverter transformer includes a first bobbin(21), a second bobbin(22), an insulating plate(30) and a pair of U-shaped cores(24). A plurality of insulation slits are formed in the first bobbin. The primary coil(25) is wound between a plurality of insulation slits. A plurality of insulation slits are formed in the second bobbin. A secondary coil(26) is wound between the plurality of insulation slits. The insulating plate is formed between the first bobbin and the second bobbin. Inserting holes(27) are formed inside the first and second bobbins. A pair of U-shaped cores are inserted into the inserting hole respectively. A partition holder is inserted into an insertion hole formed on the top of the insulating plate.
