SYSTEM FOR CHANNEL SOUNDING OF BROADBAND SINGLE CARRIER MOBILE COMMUNICATIONS AND THE METHOD THEREOF

A system for channel sounding of broadband single carrier mobile communications and the method thereof is provided to perform accurate modeling of the single carrier wireless mobile channel having big bandwidth. The channel sounding system is comprised of the transmission device(100) and receiving device(200). The transmission device produces the channel sounding signal and mixes the signal of the adjacent band and loads it to the interesting channel and then transmits. The transmission device is comprised of the signal generator(110), the DIF(Digital IF) transmission unit, and the digital to analog converter(130) and the RF transmitter(140). The signal generator produces the digital channel sounding signal to the speed of the symbol rate. The receiving device is comprised of the RF receiver, the analog to digital converter(230), the DIF receiver(220), the sounding signal processing unit(240).
