The piece i.e. osteosynthesis plate (1), has a hole (10) arranged across the piece to receive an osteosynthesis screw (6). A recess (11) is arranged at one of openings of the hole, extending along a radial direction with respect to the hole. The recess communicates with the hole and has certain depth to receive a conical portion of the screw extending between a base of a head of the screw and a proximal end of a body of the screw. The recess has an oblong shape and extends on both sides of the hole.
