A face verification apparatus, a face authentication method and a face authentication system using the face image registered in advance are provided to acquire the face image of the object of validation performed based on the face image acquired. A prior memory part(14) memorizes intrinsic information in advance. A manipulation part(13) receives the operation input. A photographing part(11) takes a picture of an image including a face. A face detection part(12) detects the face range of individual from the image photographing part. An authenticating part(15) determines the registration of individual based on the intrinsic information memorized by image and prior memory part of the detected face range.
