A ball head for a tripod is provided to take a panorama shot of the vertical direction regardless of the slated angle as a clamp is pivotally connected to a clamp connection part of the ball. A ball head for a tripod comprises: a housing(10) in which a ball holder is equipped in the upper portion of a cylinder; a ball(30) having a clamp connection part protruded to the upward, rotating in the inside of the housing to the every direction; a clamp screwing an instrument connecting to the clamp connection part from the top of the housing; a table part inserted into the bottom of the housing in order to support the lower part of the ball; and a housing transferring tool moving the housing upward and downward in order for a ball holder to press the ball to fix.
